College Board releases details on 2020 AP exams

The College Board has released information on the details of individual exams. The exams will be simultaneously held world-wide, and each subject exam will be 45 minutes long, consisting of free response questions. Different from other years, there will be no multiple choice questions on these online exams. Additionally, each exam has two test dates for students to choose from....

Georgia public schools to close through the end of the school year

Gov. Brian Kemp announced today that Georgia K-12 public schools would be closed through the end of the academic year. Superintendent Dr. Meria Carstarphen cited Kemp's order as she announced that Atlanta Public Schools will remain closed for in-person instruction for the rest of the school year.

Third COVID-19 case confirmed in Georgia

Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia reported they have a patient who tested positive for COVID-19. This comes as the third reported case in Georgia along with the two previously diagnosed patients in Fulton county on March 2, 2020. A member of the pair previously diagnosed had recently returned home from a trip to Milan, Italy.

Immunizations offered to 10th graders

10th graders ages 16 and up will have access to a free immunization ahead of their junior year on March 9. To obtain this immunization, the student should get a permission form from the Grady Clinic this week.
