City crews work to fix pipe burst at Howard Middle School

Pipes burst at David T. Howard Middle School Feb. 3 and while there is enough water pressure for the students to flush and wash their hands, according to an APS statement, there may not be enough to prepare hot meals for students. Students have been given bottled water to ensure a warm lunch. By the end of the school day, valves will be installed by city crews to increase the school’s water pressure, according to the statement.
