Freshman Jalaal Awad is not your average high schooler. In addition to attending high school and socializing with friends, Awad has a passion for video games. In his free time, he loves to play video games. Because of his love for gaming, he has joined the Midtown e-sports club. Some games he enjoys playing are Legends, Rocket League and others.

“I just thought that joining [e-sports] was going to be something pretty fun to do,” Awad said. “You get to meet new people and make new friends, too.”
