On Wednesday, Aug. 24, APS will host its School Safety and Security Event at Sutton Middle School’s Northside campus from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. APS Police Chief Applin will speak and take questions from APS community members who would like to learn more about the current state of safety and security across the APS district. While Chief Applin’s presentation will be similar to his presentation at the Atlanta Board of Education’s Aug. 8 meeting, there will be more interaction with the audience during this event.
