The boys and girls golf teams closed out a successful season for both programs traveling to Blackshear, Georgia May 16 – 17 to compete in the GHSA State Championship at Okefenokee Country Club. After two days of competition, the boys finished 9th (645) and the girls placed 11th (673). Both teams played two rounds, one on Monday and one on Tuesday, with scores combined to determine the team and individual standings. Ross Smith shot lowest for the boys, finishing T15 with a total score of 152. Duncan Smith and Riley Ruby both followed closely, finishing T26 at 156. Julia Williams had the best performance for the girls, shooting 208 to tie for 34th place overall.
