APS to operate virtually for first week of second semester

Atlanta Public Schools announced Saturday all schools will operate virtually for the first week of the second semester due to an increase in the numbers of positive Covid cases reported in the Metro Atlanta area. All staff members are required to report in-person for a mandatory Covid test on Monday, Jan. 3. School is set to resume in-person Jan. 10.
