Junior, Cassie Maggard, is one of the eight members of the Grady Girls Golf team. She was motivated to join the team in 2020 for many reasons.

“When I was younger I would occasionally play with my family and grandfather, but this year with covid I became more interested,” Maggard said. “A few of my friends had played on the team last year and expressed how fun it was, so I decided to join.”

Even though the season is over (as of this past week), she looks back on the experience fondly.

“I had a great time this year playing with the other girls on the team,” Maggard said. “We all got along well and encouraged one another.”
