English department chair Alex Wallace helped chaperone senior prom on Saturday, April 24 at the World Congress Center.
“My experience chaperoning prom this weekend was absolutely wonderful,” Wallace said. “I was really excited to see all the students interacting with one another, with the staff. It was really refreshing to see their excitement during the prom.”
Over his three years at Grady, Wallace has chaperoned every prom. Wallace is a former Inman Middle School teacher, so he is able to see his former Inman students all grown up at the events.
“My favorite part of chaperoning was definitely taking pictures with my former students, watching them interact and also really seeing them become young adults, because they have a really productive future,” Wallace said. “I’m really excited to see that.”
