The Science Math Summer Enrichment Academy (SMSEA) applications are now available for ninth through twelfth graders seeking to complete an additional math or a science course worth up to one full year of credit. The deadline to apply is Apr. 12. In order to qualify, students must have a minimum cumulative 80% GPA average and a minimum of 90% average in the subject they are seeking to do during the summer with SMSEA. SMSEA allows for room in students’ schedules during the next school year for higher-level course work such as AP (Advanced Placement) or DE (dual enrollment), and it may afford students the opportunity of completing high school early.

SMSEA will take place Jun. 2-20, 2021 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at North Atlanta High School. There are no fees associated with SMSEA.
