Junior Murphy Weis has found joy in the little things throughout the pandemic. From travelling to hiking, being in nature has been a large part of her life for as long as she can remember. However, with her travel plans on hold, Weis has found gardening and taking care of plants at home to be a source of comfort.
“I love plants and all things green,” Weis said. “I think it must run in my family, my grandma loves to garden and my dad is a landscape architect. He used to work for Trees Atlanta and I spent a lot of time helping him plant and care for trees. Right now my room has 21 plants. I think my obsession has gotten a little out of control. It’s been a way of keeping me sane and busy during the pandemic!”
