Football falls to Fayette County 20-14 in season opener

The Knights played their first game of the season against Fayette County on Sept. 4 at the Grady stadium. Although the Knights put up a good fight, Fayette County ended up on top winning 20-14. Grady’s two touchdowns were scored by senior Jordan Jones and senior Xavier Sessoms. Sessoms also had an impact on the defensive side of the ball along with sophomore Jordan Taylor and sophomore Steven Simpson who all individually recorded double-digit tackles.

Grady’s next scheduled game is on Sept. 19 against Mays at the Grady stadium.
