The boys and girls cross country teams both kicked off their seasons in the 14th Annual Run at the Rock Invitational, which was held on Sept. 5 at Woodland. The girls, finishing second behind River Ridge, were led by sophomore Jamie Marlowe, junior Ellie Spears, and sophomore Emilia Weinrobe. The boys, on the other hand, finished sixth, and they were led by junior Everett Schroeder and sophomore Zach Spangler.

The team’s next meet, the Lions Invitational, is on Sept. 12 at Boundary Waters Park in Douglasville.
