Applications for the 2020-2021 Posse Foundation Scholarship are available now to rising seniors. Winners of the scholarship have the opportunity of a getting full-tuition paid, four year college experience. The schools involved in the scholarship include: Bard College, Boston University, Brandeis University, George Washington University, and The College of Wooster. 20 Grady High School scholars will be chosen to participate in the nomination process, and online applications close at 11:59PM on May 1, 2020. Qualifications are listed below:

Academic Excellence: Students who have done well academically, and can perform at a high level at an academically rigorous college or university

·         Leadership: Dynamic students who demonstrate strong leadership in their schools or communities

·         Diversity: Students who represent various racial, ethnic, class, gender, sexuality, and life experience backgrounds

·         Positive, motivated, talented, ambitious young people

To be considered for nomination students must:

·         Be a rising senior

·         Hold 87% or above Numeric Average

·         Complete the Online Application Form (which includes attaching a resume)
