Grady’s College and Career Readiness Performance Index exceeded Atlanta Public Schools’ and the state’s average for high school, according to results released by the Georgia Department of Education. Grady’s score of 81.7 exceeded the state average of 75.3 and the district’s average of 65.5. The index measured schools by five metrics: content mastery, progress, closing gaps, readiness, and graduation rate. Since the state changed the way the index is measured, there is no year-to-year comparison to the previous year.
