Both cross country teams performed well Sept. 15 at the Lions Invitational as the girls won the meet and the boys finished second.

The girls edged out Landmark Christian and region rival Decatur. Senior Anna Tischer and junior Lindsay Schroeder led the girls team with top 10 finishes as Tischer finished fifth and Schroeder finished seventh. The boys finished second to Decatur, led by top 10 finishes from junior Bram Mansbach and Luke Langan. Mansbach finished seventh and Langan finished ninth. The girls junior varsity team placed first while the boys junior varsity team placed second. The cross country team has their next meet on Sept. 20 at Grant Park.
