Jesters win seventh state championship

The Grady High School Jesters Speech and Debate Team won the GFCA Varsity State Tournament for the seventh consecutive year on March 5. Seniors Harrison Wilco and Conor Downey closed out the finals in Lincoln Douglas debate. Junior Gregory Fedorov took first place in Extemporaneous Speaking. Senior Ashley Carter took first place in Program Oral Interpretation. Overall, 18 students advanced to elimination rounds. The Grady Jesters also qualified the most students to the state tournament for any school of their size.
