On Friday Feb. 9, the girls swim team competed in the State Championships at Georgia Tech. The relay team, consisting of Lia Pett, Lily Trapkin, Barri Jones and Kate de Give, placed 22nd in the 200-yard-freestyle relay out of 54 teams, and placed 26th out of 38 in the 400-yard-freestyle relay. Pett also competed in two individual events: the 200-yard-individual medley and the 100-yard-butterfly. Pett placed 35th out of 40 in the medley, and placed 34th out of 40 in the butterfly.
