DEEP THOUGHTS: National Urban Debate national champions Ben Dean and Holden Choi flank Isabelle Taft, who ranks No. 1 in the country in extemporaneous speaking according to the Extemp Central website’s National Points Race, as the trio talks with Denis O’Hayer of WABE 90.1 FM. They covered a wide range of subjects from the philosophy and ethics of debate to precisely how useful debate strategies are in winning arguments with parental units.  Listening to the conversation will make you feel smarter and — this is a guarantee — prouder to be associated with Grady High School.
